“INVICTUS 2022-23”
Every year Jyotirao Phule Subharti College of Physiotherapy, SVSU organizes its Annual Sports Meet as a part of Co-curricular activities. This year the Annual Sports Meet “INVICTUS 2022-23” on 2nd & 3rd Feb. 2023 was organized by BPT Batch-2019 under the supervision of Sports Coordinators Dr. Danish Nouman and Dr. Apoorva. The event was organized in Madan Mohan Malviya Subharti Playground, Gyani Preetam Singh Subharti Playground and Kotnis Boys’ Hostel. The Chief Guest of the event Sh. Harish Chandra Singh Negi, Deputy Commandant, Academy For Public Order (RAPO), Meerut was honoured with Planter and Momento by Respected Dean and Principal. The event was inaugurated with Subharti Gaan, Folk dance (BPT Batch 2022) and Zumba dance (BPT Batch 2021). The Deputy Commandant inaugurated the first event at 10:30 a.m. with 4x100m Relay race.
Approximately 300 students participated. The students were encouraged with speeches by Hon’ble Chief Guest and Respected Dean and Principal. On day-1 (02.03.2023) after the inauguration, the students of the four batches competed sports events like Relay races, 100 metres race, Throw ball, Long jump, Cricket (Semi-finals) and Discus Throw. On Day-2, events were Badminton (Singles, Doubles and Mixed doubles), Chess, Carrom and Arm wrestling. Faculties also participated in the events like Cricket, Lemon race, Badminton etc.
The medal ceremony took place for Day-1 at 1:00pm wherein the participants were honoured with Medals and certificates by Hon’ble Chief Guest and Respected Dean and Principal. Best batch trophy was bagged by BPT Batch-2019, Man of the Match was Manoj Bharti (BPT Batch 2020) and woman of the match was Isha Karoliya (BPT Batch-2019).
In the end, the Prof. (Dr.) Jasmine Anandabai, Dean and Principal appreciated everyone for their presence and support, and congratulated the students for their exceptional performances.
