Janamashtami celebration
Janamashtami celebration was organized on 19/08/2022 by a team of the Subharti Mandir Committee with representatives of various colleges. The event started with “Matki fod” competition in the evening in which students as well as many high officials like Hon’able VC Sir Dr. G.K. Thapliyal, CEO Ma’am Dr. Shalya Raj, MS Sir Dr. H.S. Minhas, Principals of various colleges participated with full zeal. After this, there was a cultural function in the evening that included Fancy Dress Competition for kids, Jhanki Competition and Singing Competiton for college students, a few traditional dance performances by students, soulful Bhajans, Krishan Janam and Aarti at 12:00 am. Winners of the competition were given appreciation gifts. The volunteers were also appreciated and given tokens of appreciation for their support and willful contribution to organizing the function.
