La Fête24, French Culture Tradition Celebration was organized by the Department of Languages, FASS in collaboration with LeFrehindi On 16th December 2024. The purpose of this celebration was to spread awareness about French Culture specially the tradition, culture, cuisine, monuments of France .This celebration was held in the department of Languages. French Language students and students of Language department beautifully decorated the hall with french flags,eiffel tower poster and balloons. The dress code for the day was black and white .The celebration began with the blessings of Dr. Rafat Khanam, in-charge of English and Foreign Languages, Department of languages, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences. The host of the day was Samiya Siddiqui, student of French Language and B.A. Eng. Hons. She started with the maiden speech telling the history of France culture. She welcomed the gathering and thanked French trainer Ms. Jyoti yadav , HOD Dr. Seema Sharma and Dr. Rafat Khanam, in-charge of English and Foreign Languages for organizing French culture event .
The celebration was commenced with the power point presentation of of students. The students demonstrated beautiful monuments, expressions, pronunciations as an essence of French culture . Ayushi and Samiya the French language students presented beautiful tradition ,language and spirit of France during the demonstration .All the faculty members and students appreciated the presentation style and knowledge of the students about the French culture. Following French culture all the teachers and students gathered for participating in French games .The program was beautified with the GAUCHE and DROITE game. It was a full of fun game in which one person was asked to be a blind fold and to search a hidden ball. The game became more interesting when the opposite team tried the blindfolded person to distract to reach the direction of finding the hidden ball. The favorable team guided the blindfolded for the right direction. Dr. Nishi Raghav, Ms,. Swati Sharma, Ayushi very well played the game. Everyone enjoyed event and the day was celebrated with absolute delight with everyone it was a lovely and very amazing experience for all to learn the French culture, tradition through Games.
The celebration was concluded with the formal vote of Thanks. Dr. Rafat Thanked all the faculty members and students for their benign presence. The celebration was full of enthusiasm and accomplished with knowledge and togetherness. during the program Dr. Rafat Khanam, Prof. Rajeshwar, Dr. Ashish, Dr.Nishi, Ms.Swati and Fahad ,Bhumi, Samiya, Kanishka, Vidhi, Ayushi, Ananya were present.
