She also said Gender inequality refers to the unequal treatment and opportunities experienced by individuals based on their gender, impacting access to rights, resources, and opportunities. It’s a pervasive issue that intersects with other forms of inequality like race, class, and sexual orientation. Globally, gender inequality can manifest in various areas, including education, employment, healthcare, and political participation. Gender inequality is the condition in which access to rights, resources, and opportunities is unequally distributed between genders, including men, women, boys, girls, and individuals of other gender identities. This disparity stems from deeply ingrained social norms and power structures that perpetuate discrimination and the unequal distribution of power and privileges. Gender inequality exacerbates the challenges faced by those who are already marginalised, making it a critical issue to address to achieve social justice and equality. Ms. Sonali Roy talked about the Right to education and said that The Right to Education Act (RTE) enacted in India in 2009, guarantees free and compulsory education for children aged 6 to 14. This right is enshrined in Article 21A of the Indian Constitution. The RTE ensures that every child has access to elementary education, regardless of their background or circumstances. After that Ms. Shivangi Kumari, aware about the various gender inequalities, she also gave information about the various government initiatives and schemes started by the government for the welfare of the girls specially. Mr. Rahul Kumar also talked about the girls education system in India and said that to understand anything you are supposed to read your history and must read Jyotiba Phuley Rao who worked for women education. He told about the new criminal laws, namely the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, Bharatiya
Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, and Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam, which replaced the Indian Penal Code, Code of Criminal Procedure, and Indian Evidence Act.
