To spread the awareness among the students & in the society Legal Literacy and Awareness Week organized by the Sardar Patel Subharti Institute of Law as it is the constitutional obligation on the Citizens of India to fulfill their duties towards the Nation.This awareness week started under the direction of Honb’le Justice Rajesh Chandra,Director(Former Judge High Court of Judicature at Prayagraj) & Prof. (Dr.) Reena Bishnoi, Officiating Dean, Faculty of Law. On this Occasion they motivate the students to participate in such awareness activities by their valuable words. As per the schedule students actively participated in Free Legal Aid Camp, Survey, Awareness E-Quiz , E-Poster Making Completion & Awareness talk on ‘Child Rights.
Constitution Day (Samvidhan Diwas) was celebrated to honor the adoption of the Constitution of India and to reaffirm the nation’s commitment to its constitutional values, democratic principles, and the rule of law. The celebration began with a collective reading of the Preamble, led by faculty members, students, administrative staff, and library professionals of the University. This symbolic act highlighted the importance of the Constitution in shaping India’s governance and empowering its citizens.
The program underscored the transformative role of the Constitution in promoting social, educational, and economic justice, aligning with Dr. B. R. Ambedkar’s vision for an inclusive and just society. Through thoughtful reflections, the event emphasized how the Constitution continues to serve as a beacon of equality and rights for all Indians. Program is anchored by Dr. Afreen Almas.
Legal Literacy and Awareness Week concluded with remarks that reinforced the significance of constitutional culture in legal education. It was a reminder of the University’s mission to nurture socially responsible, ethically grounded, and constitutionally aware legal professionals, who are equipped to contribute meaningfully to the legal landscape
