LITERARY EVENT (PRAVAAH: THE FLOW)

Literary council of the Subharti Law College organized various  activities during Annual Week Celebration ‘Pravaah: The Flow’The inaugural session served as the official commencement of the Annual Week. The ceremony was graced by esteemed dignitaries including the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Pro Vice Chancellor, Director ISGR, Dean of Student Welfare, Dean, Faculty of Law Dr. Vaibhav Goel Bhartiya, and several faculty members. The ceremony set the tone for the week, emphasizing active participation, creativity, and holistic development. Objectives of the activity were-1.To formally commence the Annual Week and introduce its theme – Pravaah: The Flow.2.To inspire and encourage students towards active participation in various events.3.To provide a platform for dignitaries to share their vision and guidance.4.To foster a sense of unity and enthusiasm among students and staff. After that Debate Competition was organized. The Debate Competition was an intellectually stimulating event that provided students a platform to express their opinions on thought-provoking topics. It was the first event of the inaugural Day of Pravaah: The Flow, and was organised by Literary Council. The Judges of the event were Ms. Sonal Jain and Mr. Harshit, Faculty of Law. The topic of the Debate was “Viksit Bharat 2047: A Realistic Goal or an Overambitious Dream?” The event witnessed healthy arguments and counterarguments which sharpened the critical thinking and communication skills of the participants.Best Speaker: Om Thakur, B.A.LL.B VI Sem,2nd Best Speaker: Akshdeep Kaur and Kasak, B.A.LL.B IV Sem,     3rd Best Speaker: Anant Gemini, LL.M II Sem After that Elocution Competition was held.The Elocution Competition aimed to develop clarity in expression and effective communication skills. Participants delivered speeches on assigned topics with eloquence, engaging the audience with their content and delivery. The judges of the Competition were Dr. Prem Chandra, Associate Professor and Mr. Arshad Alam, Assistant Professor, Faculty of Law. The topic of the Elocution was “Gender Equality in the Legal System: Has India Made Sufficient Progress?” First Speaker: Kasak, B.A.LL.B IV Sem,Second Speaker: Prakarti, B.A.LL.B VIII Sem,Third Speaker: Om Thakur B.A.LL.B VI Sem and Shubhangi Singh, B.A.LL.B VIII Sem 4. Essay Writing Competition,The Essay Writing Competition provided students a space for introspection and written expression on contemporary and socially relevant topics. It encouraged participants to structure their thoughts cohesively and creatively. The Judges of the Competition were Dr. Ajay Raj Singh, Assistant Professor and Mr. Ashutosh Deshwal, Lecturer, Subharti Law College. The Topic of the Essay Competition was “Role of AI in Democratic Governance: An Analysis” First: Ishika Chauhan, B.A.LL.B VIII Sem,            Second: Siddhant Singh Patel, B.A.LL.B IV Sem;Third: Gautam Kumar, LL.M, II Sem After that Poster Making Competition was held.The Poster Making Competition allowed students to translate their ideas visually, combining creativity with social messaging. The competition witnessed vibrant and thoughtful posters based on given theme i.e. Sustainable Development goals. And the Judges of the event were Dr. Reena Bishnoi, Professor and Ms. Afreen almas, Assistant Professor, Subharti Law College. First: Himanshi,Second: Prarthana,            Third: Gungun . After that Photography Competition was organized.The Photography Competition enabled students to capture moments that aligned with the theme of ‘Subharti: A blend of Heritage and Modernity’. The event encouraged participants to observe their surroundings keenly and portray stories through visuals. The Judges of the event were Dr. Sarika Tyagi, Associate Professor and Ms. Shivani, Lecturer, Subharti Law College. First: Harsh Verma,            Second: Vivek Kumar Upadhyay,Third: Palak Dhama Day 1 of the Annual Week “PRAVAAH – THE FLOW” concluded on a highly engaging and inspiring note. Each event organised by the Literary Council successfully met its objectives, enriching participants with new skills, creative exposure, and invaluable experiences. The vibrant participation and enthusiasm displayed by students promise an eventful and enriching week ahead. Outcomes of the activity were-

  • The dignitaries’ addresses motivated students to engage wholeheartedly.
  • The event successfully created an energetic and positive ambiance for the upcoming activities.
  • Participants gained clarity on the structure and spirit of the week.
  • The inaugural session fostered institutional bonding and alignment of vision.
