National Seminar bu Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Chair on “Netaji ke Vicharo Ki Vartman Pariprekshy mein Upadeyta

Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Chair, Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi Subharti Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University organized a national seminar on 29th April 2024 on the subject “Netaji ke Vicharo Ki Vartman Pariprekshy mein Upadeyta.” Acharya Salil Kumar (International astrologer), Dr. Anand Bardhan (National President of the Indian Museum Association, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University, Delhi) and Colonel Amardeep Tyagi participated in the program as chief guest, keynote speaker and special guest respectively.

Speaking in the inaugural session of the program, chief guest Acharya Salil Kumar said that the freedom we have got today is the result of Netaji’s national and international movements. If Netaji had not stood in this manner at that time, our country might not have become independent even today. Talking about Netaji’s thoughts, Acharya Salil Kumar said that to achieve the goal in life, one has to take risks. He further explained about the specialty of Krishna Arjun dialogue in Bhagavad Gita and introduced everyone to the importance of Kriya Yoga and said that it is almost impossible to be a greater practitioner of Kriya Yoga than Netaji. He further said that we should also regularly study Netaji’s thoughts like Kriya Yoga. Along with this, Salil Kumar also shared with the audience that there is evidence of Netaji’s presence among us in the present times.

During this, while speaking as the keynote speaker, Dr. Anand Bardhan, National President of the Indian Museum Association, while throwing light on the historical facts related to Netaji, said that Netaji was a visionary personality., He knew very well that we can never get freedom by following the path of non-violence. Therefore, despite winning the election of the President of the Congress Party, Netaji resigned from his post and formed a separate party known as the Forward Bloc. He also joined the INA (Indian National Army) founded by Rash Bihari Bose. Reorganized and along with many nations of the world against the British government, launched a military campaign for the independence of India. He further said that Netaji will remain a man of the era and a leader of the people not only in history but also in the present and future.

In this sequence, special guest Colonel Amardeep Tyagi said in his address that Netaji was a person with all the virtues. As good a politician as he was, he was also a good military commander. Netaji’s strategic understanding was so mature that it was unmatched by any other military commander. It was a miracle of Netaji’s wisdom and strategy that he made the operations of the Indian National Army (INA), which was less resourceful and numerically smaller than the British army.

Prof. (Dr.) S. C. Thaledi, Head of the Department of Journalism & Mass Communication, said that Subhash Chandra Bose is a source of incomparable inspiration for all of us. Dr. Thaledi told all the students that this is  important occasion for all students to  get a lot of new information about Subhash Chandra Bose.

During this, Major (Dr.) Deshraj Singh, Chairman, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Chair, gave a brief introduction of the life of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose and related to him. He explained 3 important days. In which 23 January, 14 April and 21 October are celebrated as Parakram Diwas, Moirang Diwas and Independence Day of Akhand Bharat respectively in Subharti University. During this, Dr. Deshraj said that Netaji’s thoughts are great thoughts and as long as this earth exists, Netaji’s thoughts will remain among all of us and will continue to guide us.

In the first technical session Prof. (Dr.) Lata Kumar, Keynote speaker told about the personality and works of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. He said that Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose had established the Ranijhansi Women’s Regiment., He was the only person of that time who took such an extraordinary step, which was an example of women empowerment. It is the result of Netaji’s education policy that today we are seeing a coed education system in India.

In the second technical session Prof. (Dr.) Bhup Singh Gaur, Keynote speaker said that Netaji was the personality we should follow his thoughts and life learning for the National Integration.

In this seminar, Dr. Kamal Kishore Upadhyay, Vishwas Gupta, Dr. Ajay Krishna Tiwari, Dr. Arpitben Tulsi Bhai Patel, Dr. Rajrani Singh, Ram Prakash Tiwari, Shelly Sharma, MJMC student Jayant Singh Dhaka etc. prominently presented their research papers.

In the concluding session of the seminar, Assistant Professor of Journalism Department Shelly Sharma presented a brief report of this entire event. During this, Dr. Preeti Singh, convener of the seminar and research officer of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Chair, thanked everyone for the successful organization of the seminar and said that today’s event will definitely give us all a lot of new information about Netaji. Important information has been received from which we can be inspired to do more new research about Netaji.
