One Day Workshop on Intellectual Property Rights (Copyright)

1. As per the directives received from the Law College, a One Day Workshop on IPR was organized for B.A.LL.B. I Year students on 06.03.2025.
2. Students were told about various forms of IPR- Copyright, Patents, Trademark, GI.
3. Students were sensitized in detail about Copyright, Indian Copyright Act, 1957.
4. Students were told about the objective of copyright protection, benefits of registered copyright, term of copyright protection, infringement of copyright, and penalties and authorities under the act.
5. Sessions were provided the opportunity to ask questions at the end of the presentation.
