Freshers Day is a platform where the juniors display their hidden talents. This day has been a regular event every year for the BPT students since the inception of this college. It is a welcome day party for the newcomers of the BPT 2024 batch and a gesture of extending the friendly atmosphere and to be motivating factor for the juniors. The aim is to make the juniors feel welcome and interact with them. The new academic year brings happiness and joy with the arrival of the juniors. To welcome them to the department and make them feel at home. It marks as a new step towards graduation from the schooling days. ‘A hundred new faces, but a million dreams’ is what the occasion can be best described. Welcoming these odd bright faces to an unchartered ocean of knowledge, fear and anxiety are bound to creep into these novice minds. The college realizing the importance organizes fresher’s day to make the students feel at home and imbibe in them the faith that they are not alone.
The event started with the lamp lighting ceremony that was lit by our Dean and Principal, Prof. (Dr) Jasmine Anandabai along with all the other dignitaries and our senior faculty members- Dr. Amit Kumar Goel, Associate Professor, Dr.Raj Kumar Sharma, Associate Professor; Dr.DanishNouman, Associate Professor, Dr. Uzma Khan Assistant Professor, Dr. Kapil Rastogi Assistant Professor, Dr. Ritika Mani Assistant Professor and Dr. Aishwaraya Rai Assistant Professor. Guests were presented with planters as a token of faith and as part of the tradition of the university and its dedication towards enriching the environment. We were also blessed with a truly motivating speech by our zestful Dean and Principal. The event was then followed by two group dances by students of BPT Batch 2023 and another group dance of BPT Batch 2023. A healthy interaction took place between the students and was followed by students of BPT 2023 giving their introduction and showcasing their talents. A lunch was held at the same venue where everyone gathered and enjoyed the delicacies.
Ms. Aarushi and Mr. Kushal Mishra were Ms. And Mr. Fresher respectively. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by every junior to their senior followed by the fun on DJ.
