PHYSIO ARC SPORTS MEET 2021

Faculty of Physiotherapy and Allied Sciences has organised its annual sports meet from December 12th till 14th.

The Chief Guest of Annual Sports Meet 2021 were –

1). Ms. Ayushi Gupta (10 Meter Air Rifle Shooter)

·        National Level Gold Medalist in Rifle Shooting.

·        Represent India in World Championship.

2). Mr. Ankur (10 Meter Air Rifle Shooter)

·        National Qualified Silver Medalist in Pre National GV Mavlankar 2018.

·        Silver Medal in north zone Championship (2017).

Jyotirao Phule Subharti College of Physiotherapy continues to follow its tradition of developing the holistic personality of the students by organizing the exciting Annual Sports Meet PHYSIO ARC-2021. 

Sports is the way human beings test and surpass their limits of discipline, persistence, compassion and dedication. 

For this, we organize a number of co-curricular activities throughout the year and sports are an integral part of it. The sports meet was organized for three days by the Sports Co-ordinators and BPT-2018 batches under the guidance of Dr. Jasmine Anandabai(Dean & Principal). The sports meet was organized from 12th December to 14th December 2021. The meet was graced by the Chief Guests Ms. Ayushi Gupta(10m Air Rifle Shooter) from Agra, Uttar Pradesh and Mr. Ankur (10m Air Rifle Shooter) from Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. The first day of the sports meet had a plethora of On-Field events. The students participated and enjoyed fun races like lemon race, sack race, three-legged race, 100m and 200m race. The energy was high during Volleyball and Throwball matches. The day proceeded with Shot put and Discus Throw. The day ended with Long Jump. The second day started with great enthusiasm and saw a number of events. The students participated in a number of On-field and Off-Field events like Cricket (girls & boys), Badminton(singles, doubles, mix doubles), Chess, Ludo, Carrom, Arm Wrestling and Treasure Hunt. The third and last day of the sports meet had On-Field events. The students enjoyed Cricket and Tug of War. All the students, interns and faculty welcomed this opportunity to have some fun while keeping their fitness in check during these three days. The sports meet was successfully planned and executed. It was closed with a prize distribution ceremony to felicitate all the winners.
