Faculty of Engineering and Technology College, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University organized a Webinar on “Programming using Python”, under Experimental Learning on 12th Feb 2022.
The speaker, Dr. Sanjive Tyagi, is an Associate Professor in the Computer Science and Engineering department. The session saw an astounding response with approx 120 registration from students, faculty of Subharti Institute Engineering and Technology.
The lecture ended with a question and answer session with students then a vote of thanks was given by Dr. Shravan Garg (HoD CSE/IT). The event was organized within the college campus under the supervision of Dr. Manoj Kapil (Dean & Professor, FET, SVSU) motivated the students with his speech, and explained that these kinds of workshops are beneficial for their upcoming placements technical knowledge.
Among the faculties of the department Dr. Archita Bhatnagar, Er. Ashima and Er. Shweta Garg managed the whole session successfully.
Objective
The webinar was organized with the objective to:
- To understand why Python is a useful scripting language for developers.
- To learn how to design and program Python applications.
- To learn how to use lists, tuples, and dictionaries in Python programs.
- To learn how to identify Python object types.
