Report: The invited special lecture of Dr. Hemendra Kumar Singh, Associate Professor, Department of Education, University of Lucknow on “Ethos of Indian Knowledge System” was organized by the Department of Education, SVSU Meerut, in collaboration with the Intellectual’s Reading Club on August 10, 2024.
Dr. Hemendra highlighted the evidence of knowledge in his lecture on the ethos of the Indian knowledge system, exploring its historical depth and cultural significance. He emphasized the rich traditions of Indian education, its philosophical foundations, and their relevance in the context of modern educational practices. His insights into the ancient and contemporary aspects of Indian knowledge provided valuable perspectives for both students and faculty members.
Prof. (Dr.) Anoj Raj, Head, Department of Education & Officiating, Dean, Faculty of Education welcomed the Guest of the lecture by offering the sapling and focused on the various aspects of usefulness of the Indian Knowledge in daily life.
The session concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Rahul Sirohi, Associate Professor, and Department of Education. Dr. Sirohi expressed gratitude to the teaching and non-teaching staff for their support and extended special thanks to all students who participated in the event. The interaction fostered a deeper understanding of the Indian knowledge system and facilitated meaningful dialogue between students and faculty, enhancing the educational experience at SVSU Meerut.
