The initiation of Subharti Yuva was organised at the Central Research & Incubation Center‘s conference hall on the 21st of April 2022. The Yuva were introduced to the concept and the tasks by the Chief Executive Officer – Prof. (Dr.) Shalya Raj. The Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor – Maj. Gen (Dr.) G.K. Thapliyal, SM (Retd.) was the chief guest of the initiation meeting.

“Subharti Yuva” is an initiative by the Marketing & Communications office of the Subharti Group to connect and encourage outreach with the students of Swami Vivekanand Subharti University.
This outreach initiative is developed specifically with the aim to:
- Encourage student engagement for marketing activities on-ground and on the web.
- Nurture talent and groom the students with personality development, problem-solving in real-world situations and impart training with online and offline marketing tools used currently.
- Talent acquisition for Subharti Group with a preference for Subhartians.

Subharti Yuva can be an Undergraduate or a Postgraduate student, selected by the Marketing & Communications department to represent the social media channels of the University (news and events) and enhance the engagement of their fellow students at the ground level, thus “Yuva” will be the bridge between the students, management, administration and the alumni. A Yuva will ideally enable the Marketing & Communications team to get an insight into the student’s thinking, aspirations, pain points and most importantly ideas that engage their fellow students.
VC sir expressed his happiness to have an opportunity to meet the students and interact with them. He along with CEO ma’am asked the Yuva members to share their ideas for enhancing the university’s social media channels. Prof. (Dr.) Shalya Raj encouraged the students to participate with the university to develop social content by sharing campus images, articles, poems and news articles. The students were also encouraged to submit articles for the university blog. VC sir said that Yuva will give the students an opportunity to collaborate with the students from other specialisations and departments. He laid emphasis on the importance of exposure and collaboration with people from different backgrounds and streams to give a more robust shape to an idea.
Mr. Vishal Singh, Head of Marketing & Communications at Subharti Group said that students are invited to register for the Yuva initiative by visiting yuva.subharti.org and sharing a few details with the MARCOM team. He interacted with the students and shared a few ideas such as a campus news podcast which will be managed and hosted by the students.
