Training cum Faculty Development Program

TRAINING CUM FDP ON ‘LATEST TRENDS & CHANGES IN BHARTIYA  NAGRIK SURAKSHA SANHITA & BHARTIYA SAKSHYA ADHINIYAM, 2023’

Sardar Patel Subharti Institute of Law organized one Training cum faculty Development  Programme on ‘Latest Trends & Changes in BNSS & BSA, 2023’. The programme was organized by

Faculty of Law in association with the Faculty Development Cell/Committee of University. Dignitaries that presided the session include Justice Rajesh Chandra, Director Subharti Law College, Dr. Vaibhav Goel  Bharatiya, Dean Faculty of Law and Dr. R.K. Ghai, Chairman, Faculty Development Cell/Committee. Ms. Ana Sisodia, Assistant Professor deliberated upon the changes brought forth by Bharatiya Sakshya  Adhiniyam, 2023 after repealing of Indian Evidence Act, 1872 and Ms. Sonal Jain, Assistant Professor  deliberated upon the changes brought forth by Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 after repealing the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973. 

Hon’ble Justice Rajesh Chandra congratulated the team for organizing such contemporary sessions timely so  as to apprise the teachers of the new laws formed. Dr. Vaibhav Goel Bharatiya highlighted the long- awaited transformation and its need so as to bridge Industry-Academia Gap on the said perspective. He  also highlighted what better changes could have been brought in the aforementioned laws, with a hope of  future transformation. Dr. R.K. Ghai praised the Faculty of Law, for organizing the Faculty Development  Programme and also highlighted the importance of organizing such programmes for the holistic  development of teachers.
