- To provide early exposure for all students to get Knowledge about latest art styles.
- To train students in different media of art, make them sustainable for the competitive world with their expertise of knowledge.
- To champion the value of the visual arts in the cultural and intellectual life of the university and contemporary society.
- Training the eye, hand, and mind in new media.
New Media in Art
Course Rational:- New media art includes artworks designed and produced by means of electronic mediatechnologies, comprising virtual art, computer graphics, computer animation, digital art, interactive art, sound art, Internet art, video games, robotics, 3D printing and cyborg art. The term defines itself by the thereby created artwork, which differentiates itself from that deriving from conventional visual arts (architecture, painting, sculpture, etc.). New Media art has origins in the worlds of science, art, and performance. Some common themes found in new media art include databases, political and social activism, Afrofuturism, feminism, and identity, a ubiquitous theme found throughout is the incorporation of new technology into the work.

Who can be beneficial:- New Media Arts has the capacity to engage, inspire and enrich the lives of students, encouraging them to develop their creative and intellectual potential. In Media Arts students make and respond using Media Arts knowledge, understanding and skills to represent meaning associated with personal and global views.
Assembling Sculpture
Course Rational:- Assembling is a method of sculpting where you use a variety of materials of any kind and make a composition out of them. These materials can be wood, paper, metal, and objects. Assembled sculptures are always three dimensional. Assembling Sculpture is a foundation course for the Fine Arts, Fashion and 3D Animation curriculum. This course explores the various materials used to create sculptures, which include wood, plaster, steel and stone. It is intended to provide students learn how to manipulate these materials and use sculpting tools safely. Sometimes used as social critique or as an exploration of the fantastical and dream worlds, Assemblage art gives objects new meanings, makes creative connections between disparate elements, and elevates non-art materials into the realm of art. It is intended to provide students with the skills to assembling sculpture for future animation and game design projects. The skills acquired during this course can also be applied in areas other than animation including illustration and fine arts.
Required Materials:-
- Penciland paper. …
- Cardboard or Chipboard
- Exactor knife or scissors
- Cutting mat or cutting surface
- Thin wire for details (recommended 22 gauge or higher)
- Thick wire for structure (recommended 16 – 22 gauge)
- Thin paper (newspaper, butcher block paper, Kraft paper, etc.)
- White glue or Modge Podge (several cups)
- Paintbrush
- Masking tape
- Hot glue gun and glue sticks
- Finishing materials (spray paint, acrylics, watercolors, gesso, etc.)

Silk Screen Printing
Course Rational:- While it may be an old printing technique Silkscreen Printing still has a number of advantages, even in the modern era. Silkscreen Printing produces higher fidelity results with more vibrant colors which are hard to replicate using other printing techniques. It also allows for sharper, cleaner lines and more well-defined details.
Required Materials: –
- A screen.
- A squeegee.
- A printing table with hinges.
- Stencil material.
- Registration plastic.
- Water-based screen-printing inks.
- Paper.
- Somewhere with a strong hose for screen cleaning.
