Report on “Vibe and Victory 2026” – Sports Day Event
Bhikaji Cama Subharti College of Hotel Management, under the aegis of Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut, successfully organized a vibrant sports event titled “Vibe and Victory 2026.” The event was conducted by the EpicZone Gamer’s Club, a student-led club that aims to promote recreational activities, sportsmanship, and healthy competition among students. The event was held on 27 February 2026 and witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across different academic years of the college. The primary objective of the event was to encourage students to participate in extracurricular activities, strengthen teamwork, and foster a spirit of unity and sportsmanship within the academic community. A total of 22 students actively participated in the sports event, forming two teams of 11 members each. The highlight of the day was a friendly yet competitive cricket match played between the 1st Year students and a combined team of 2nd and 3rd Year students. The match created an exciting and energetic atmosphere on the campus, with both teams demonstrating remarkable enthusiasm, coordination, and sporting spirit throughout the game.
To ensure the smooth conduct and fairness of the match, two umpires were appointed to supervise the game and ensure adherence to the rules. In addition, two faculty members were present to oversee the event, guide the students, and support the overall management of the activities. Their presence contributed significantly to maintaining discipline and encouraging student participation. The cricket match turned out to be highly engaging and competitive, with players showcasing impressive skills and teamwork. For their outstanding performance and contribution to the match, Mr. Rehan Ali and Mr. Mithu Kumar were jointly awarded the “Man of the Match” title, recognizing their exceptional efforts during the game.
In addition to the cricket match, an intellectual sporting activity in the form of a Chess Competition was also organized as part of the event. Chess, known for enhancing strategic thinking and concentration, attracted participation from six students. The competition consisted of multiple rounds in which participants demonstrated their analytical skills and strategic planning abilities. After a series of intense matches, Ms. Anju Kumari secured the First Position, displaying remarkable strategic understanding and composure. Mr. Uttkarsh Pandey secured the Second Position, presenting a commendable performance throughout the competition.
The successful execution of the event was made possible through the dedicated coordination of Dr. Vikas Sharma and Mr. Rohil Bhatnagar, who served as the official coordinators for the sports activities. The event concluded successfully with enthusiastic participation, positive sportsmanship, and a renewed sense of unity among students, reflecting the institution’s commitment to promoting holistic development alongside academic excellence.
Overall, “Vibe and Victory 2026” proved to be an enjoyable and memorable event for the students of Bhikaji Cama Subharti College of Hotel Management. The event not only encouraged physical fitness and mental engagement but also strengthened bonds among students from different academic years.
