Visit to the Central Council for Research in Yoga and Naturopathy

Maharishi Aurobindo Subharti College and Hospital of Naturopathy & Yogic Sciences, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut organized a field visit for BNYS 1st year (Batch 2024), 2nd year (Batch 2023), 3rd year (Batch 2022), 4th-year junior (Batch 2021) and 4th year senior (Batch 2020) to the Central Council for Research in Yoga and Naturopathy (CCRYN), Delhi, under the guidance of faculty members, on the 23rd and 24th of November 2024.

They welcome the students with refreshments. After that, they visit the hospital campus, where they see the male and female treatment sections and hospital rooms.

This field visit aimed to provide students with a practical understanding of the significance of naturopathy and yoga for the general population. The visit allowed students to observe how the government promotes the yoga and naturopathy systems and initiates treatments for patients at a basic level. Students learned about the counseling processes to engage patients and encourage their admission for treatment within the hospital setting.

This industrial visit proved to be exceptionally educational for the students, offering valuable insights and exposure to the practices of naturopathy and yoga within the public sector. We extend our sincere appreciation to the Director of CCRYN for his support and encouragement, which facilitated the success of this visit.

Furthermore, we would like to express our gratitude to Dr. Preeti B. for generously sharing her expertise and knowledge with our students.

Dr. Jyoti Madhur is the overall coordinator of the educational tour. The total number of students who participated was 100.
