An online workshop was organized in Subharti Institute of Technology and Engineering of Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, on Conduction techniques of Virtual Lab which is an MHRD initiative. The faculty members of all branches of Engineering joined the sessions and followed the step-by-step instructions and presentations provided in the workshop. The session started with faculty coordinator Er. Pramod Kumar Kaushal introduced the faculty members to the basics of Virtual Lab and explained how it can help the students to explore and conduct various experiments with the help of simulations supported by servers of various IITs. In the second session Er. Supratim Saha discussed various technical pre-requisites needed to execute the current version of experiments with technical detail followed by an online demonstration of various labs like Robotics lab, Neural network lab, Strength of material lab, Digital Signal Processing Lab, etc. The faculty members of all the Departments participated in the interactive learning-based workshop with enthusiasm. Dr. Manoj Kapil appreciated the efforts of all the persons involved in making the workshop a wonderful learning experience for all.
Learning Outcomes :
- The faculty members learned the technical prerequisites in order to run the latest versions of the Labs in 2022
- The faculty members learned to use the various techniques and usage of study materials provided in the lab.
- The faculty members learned to use various modes of experiment with respect to their respective branches and use the innovative and advanced simulation methods through the servers.
