Activity Conducted –
Today, on the occasion of World Schizophrenia Day, the students of Panna Dhai Maa Subharti Nursing College, in collaboration with PL Sharma District Hospital and the NCC Meerut Region, organized a program at Vidya University.
The program commenced at 9:45 a.m. with a detailed introduction and lecture on World Schizophrenia Day, delivered by Dr. Vinita, a social worker at PL Sharma District Hospital, Meerut. This was followed by an expert talk on schizophrenia and the Tele-MANAS initiative by Dr. Vibha, a psychologist at the same hospital, which received an enthusiastic response from the students. Subsequently, Assistant Professor Gunjali provided an overview of schizophrenia. A role play on schizophrenia awareness was then performed by B.Sc. 6th Semester and GNM 2nd Year students. The program concluded with an elaborate health education session conducted by M.Sc. 1st Year students.
After the program, Col. Abhishek Panwar applauded the efforts of the team from Panna Dhai Maa Subharti Nursing College for organizing a successful event and presented them with a token of appreciation. The program concluded with refreshments for the students. It was successfully conducted under the guidance of Dr. Geeta Parwanda, Dean and Principal of PDMSNC.
