The rally commenced with an inaugural address by the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Pramod Kumar Sharma. While addressing the students, he emphasized the critical importance of water in sustaining life and motivated them to spread awareness among society about the need to conserve water. He urged students to consider water conservation as a moral responsibility and encouraged them, as responsible Subhartians, to actively participate in saving water and educating others.
During the event, students showcased creative posters highlighting various aspects of water conservation. The Vice Chancellor appreciated their efforts and encouraged them to continue such meaningful initiatives.
The Chairman of the University Environment Committee, Dr. Mukesh Ruhela, also addressed the gathering. He acquainted the students with the theme of World Water Day and shared practical tips on water conservation, inspiring them to adopt sustainable practices in their daily lives.
Students from various departments enthusiastically participated in the rally and collectively spread the message of “Save Water.” Members of the University Environment Committee were also present, ensuring the successful organization of the event.
