Reel-Making Competition on the Theme “One India, Many Cultures”
The Cultural Club of Subharti College of Allied and Healthcare, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University successfully organized a Reel-making Competition on the theme “One India, Many Cultures” on 19th August 2025. The event aimed to showcase the diversity and richness of Indian culture through the creative use of social media reels, highlighting unity in diversity as the core spirit of our nation.
Students from various streams participated enthusiastically and presented reels portraying the vibrant traditions, festivals, art, attire, and cuisine of different states of India. Each reel beautifully captured how India, though diverse in language and lifestyle, stands united as one nation. The participants were judged on creativity, colour combination, explanation, theme relevance, and technical presentation. Ms. Mansi Arya, Ms. Mansi Thakur, Ms. Kanika, Ms. Shivani emerged as the winner of the competition, followed by Ms. Shoeb, Ms. Sweta, Ms. Kanchan, Mr. Umar who achieved the second position. Ms. Keshavi, Ms. Khushi Thakur, Mohd. Shahbaaz, Mohd. Suhail achieved the third position. Event was coordinated by Ms. Bhumika Singh, Mohd. Arsh, Mr. Vansh Pal, Ms. Anjali, Sharma, Ms. Astha Rav, Mr. Prince, Ms. Sweta Singh, Student Coordinator of the Cultural Club. The competition witnessed an overwhelming response, reflecting the immense talent and innovative spirit of the students. The best entries were awarded certificates and prizes. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Pankaj Kishor Mishra, Prof. & Head appreciated the initiative and encouraged students to continue promoting cultural awareness and national unity through such creative platforms.
