The showcase provided a platform for participants to present their innovative ideas, patented technologies, copyrighted work, design registrations, and startup ventures developed within the university. Faculty members, research scholars, students, and startup founders actively participated by displaying their innovations and sharing their entrepreneurial journeys and experiences related to IPR protection and commercialization.
The event highlighted several innovative projects from diverse disciplines including healthcare, engineering, management, biotechnology, education, and environmental sustainability. Special attention was given to innovations contributing toward sustainable development and societal impact, particularly those aligned with UN SDG and SDG14 – Life Below Water and other sustainability goals.
The activity served as a valuable learning experience for participants and visitors by demonstrating how ideas can be transformed into protected intellectual assets and successful startup ventures. It also encouraged interdisciplinary collaboration, networking, and motivation among young innovators to pursue research-based entrepreneurship.
Students from various constituent colleges of Swami Vivekanand Subharti University actively participated in the event, including Subharti Dental College, FASS, FET, SMC, Polytechnic College, and Faculty of Nursing. Their enthusiastic involvement added great value to the innovation showcase and reflected the interdisciplinary spirit of the university.
Among the actively involved students were Ms. Ruhi Sah, Gopal Kumar Keshri, Gaurav Kumar Keshri,Monu, Shivam Mishra of FET; Sandhya (B.Sc. Nursing); Meet Sharma, Deepanshi Chauhan (Subharti Dental College); Arushi Singh (MA Political Science), who showcased their innovative ideas, products and contributed significantly to the event. Professor Vaibhav Goel Bhartiya (Dean R&D), Professor Lubhan Singh (Additional Director, Research), Dr. Anirudh Srivastava (In-charge Publication cell), Dr. Nisha Rana (In-charge IPR Cell), Dr. KK Sharma (Coordinator, SRIC), Dr. Nikhil Rathi (Startup committee member), Mrs. Khushboo played an active role in organising, mentoring, and guiding participants throughout the event.
The showcase successfully reflected the university’s commitment to fostering an innovation-driven ecosystem and strengthening the culture of intellectual property protection and startup development within the institution.
