The Anatomical Rangoli Competition served as an excellent example of innovative teaching-learning methodology aligned with the principles of the National Medical Commission Competency-Based Medical Education (CBME) curriculum. Such activities promote active learning, teamwork, communication skills, peer-assisted learning, integration of basic sciences with clinical relevance, and self-directed learning among medical students. By encouraging students to visualize and represent anatomical concepts creatively, the competition enhanced retention, spatial understanding, critical thinking, and clinical correlation—key competencies expected from Indian Medical Graduates under the CBME framework.
The event concluded on a highly positive and enthusiastic note, reflecting the Department of Anatomy’s continuous commitment towards fostering innovative, student-centric, and competency-oriented medical education.
