Faculty Development Programme on ICT Tools
Maharishi Aurobindo Subharti College & Hospital of Naturopathy & Yogic Sciences (MASCHNYS), Faculty of AYUSH, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University organized a Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on “ICT Tools” on 09 July 2026 at 2:00 PM in the Conference Hall of College.
The programme was conducted by Dr. Archana Anilkumar, Assistant Professor, under the guidance and coordination of Dr. Sonia Ningombam, Assistant Professor, MASCHNYS. The FDP was attended by 12 faculty members.
The objective of the FDP was to enhance the digital competencies of faculty members and promote the effective integration of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in teaching-learning practices. The resource person demonstrated various ICT tools and digital platforms that facilitate interactive teaching, online assessments, content development, virtual collaboration, and student engagement.
The session also highlighted the significance of ICT-enabled teaching in implementing Outcome-Based Education (OBE), improving instructional quality, and fostering an innovative learning environment. Faculty members actively participated in discussions and hands-on demonstrations, gaining practical insights into the application of technology for effective classroom delivery.
The programme concluded with an interactive question-and-answer session, followed by a vote of thanks. The FDP successfully enhanced the participants’ awareness and skills regarding the use of ICT tools, contributing to continuous professional development and quality enhancement in higher education.
