Maharishi Aurobindo Subharti College and Hospital of Naturopathy & Yogic Sciences, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut, organized an Alumni Lecture on the theme “Mental Wellbeing” to create awareness about maintaining mental health and emotional balance through naturopathy and yogic practices.
The program was conducted on 13th March 2026 (Friday) from 02:00 PM to 03:00 PM at Lecture Theatre-4 (LT-4), MASCHNYS.
The resource person for the session was Dr. Muskan Burman, a practising naturopathy physician associated with Salubrity Clinic. She delivered an insightful and engaging lecture highlighting the growing importance of mental well-being in today’s fast-paced life.
During the session, she explained that increasing academic pressure, lifestyle changes, and technological dependency have led to a rise in stress, anxiety, and emotional imbalance among students and young professionals. She emphasized that mental well-being is not merely the absence of illness but a state of emotional stability, clarity of mind, and inner peace.
She further highlighted that naturopathy and yoga offer safe, natural, and effective approaches for maintaining mental health without side effects. Practical suggestions related to stress management, improving concentration, and maintaining emotional balance were also discussed.
The lecture was highly interactive, and students actively participated by asking questions and sharing their experiences, making the session engaging and informative.
