R. Ambedkar Chair, Faculty of Law on 14th April 2022 from 11.00 A.M onwards. On this occasion,

- Speech Competition.
- Video Making Competition.
Themes for Speech & Video Making Competition:
- Patriotism & Nationalism: A Vision of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar.
- Peace, Unity & Buddhism: A Vision of Samrat Ashok.
- Major Asaram Tyagi: A Real Hero of 1965 India-Pakistan War.
- Moirang: The first Victory of India against Britishers.
All UG/PG & Ph. D. students from recognized colleges/institutes/universities were allowed to participate in both competitions. A total of 26 entries were received for Speech Competition out of which a total of 19 participants appeared and took part in Speech Competition. One entry is received for a Video Making Competition by Anuska Bhardwaj.

The celebration of this historic day started in Moot Court Hall with the welcome address by Dr. Prem Chandra. A total of 130 members were present in the Hall. After welcoming the guest, an introductory speech is given by Dr. Champalal Mandrele, Head of the Department, Samrat Ashok Subharti School of Buddhist Studies.
After the introductory speech, a brief introduction of judges is given by Dr. Sarika Tyagi, Associate Professor, Subharti Law College. After the introduction of judges, a video received from one participant is played on screen followed by a speech competition.
After the Speech competition, a special speech was delivered by Prof. (Dr.) Nikhil Srivastava followed by the speech of Justice Rajesh Chandra. Former Judge of Allahabad High Court, Convener of Dr. B.R.Ambedkar & Director of Faculty of Law.
After that Hon’ble V. C. Maj Gen (Dr.) G.K. Thapliyal, SM (Retd.) delivered his speech and blessed the students, and then the results of both competitions are declared. In the Video Making Competition, a special prize was given to Anushka Bhardwaj. During the speech competition, all the participants performed well. Riya Sharma is declared the winner of the Speech Competition. Kumari Akanksha Rai & Vaishnavi Chaudhary are declared runners in the speech competition. Vania Asad Sheikh & Rishabh bagged third prize in the speech competition. The program ended with a vote of thanks by Dr. Manoj Tripathi, Head of the Department of Political Science & Sociology.
