10th Continuing Nursing Education (CNE) Programme on the topic “End-of-Life Care”
Panna Dhai Maa Subharti Nursing College organized its 10th Continuing Nursing Education (CNE) Programme on the topic “End-of-Life Care” in collaboration with Can Support on 16th October 2025 at the Maharani Laxmibai Auditorium, commencing at 11:30 a.m. onwards.
The session featured esteemed resource persons — Dr. Smita Handa, MBBS, MD (Public Health), DNB (HHA), Senior Palliative Care Physician, Trainer, and NDPS Director at Can Support; Ms. Savita Luka, Director of Nursing, Can Support NGO; and Ms. Sajani Shrestha, Nurse Trainer at Can Support.
The inauguration ceremony was conducted by Dr. Geeta Parwanda, Principal & Dean, Panna Dhai Maa Subharti Nursing College, along with the guests. The experts delivered insightful presentations on a range of topics including Introduction to Palliative Care, End-of-Life Nursing Issues, Final Days and Hours, and Psychosocial Issues in End-of-Life Care. Their interactive sessions enhanced the participants’ understanding of compassionate care for terminally ill patients. Approximately 100 participants, including final-year B.Sc. Nursing students and staff nurses from CSSH, actively took part in the programme.
