“Hindi Diwas” held at Studio Kitchen, Bhikaji Cama Subharti College of Hotel Management
The Bhikaji Cama Subharti College of Hotel Management celebrated “Hindi Diwas” on September 14, 2023, with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour. The event took place at the Studio Kitchen, a renowned venue within the college campus, where students, faculty, and staff gathered to commemorate the significance of Hindi language and its rich cultural heritage.
The highlight of the event was a captivating guest lecture delivered by Dr. Indraneel Bose, Assistant Professor, BCSCHM. Dr. Bose’s lecture focused on the historical, cultural, and linguistic importance of the Hindi language. He emphasized the role of Hindi as a unifying force that binds the diverse regions of India together. He also shed light on the literary treasures found in Hindi, from classic works to contemporary literature, and urged the students to embrace and preserve their linguistic heritage.
Dr. Shiv Mohan Verma, the respected Principal of BCSCHM, graced the occasion with his presence. He delivered an inspirational speech emphasizing the college’s commitment to promoting and preserving the Hindi language. He stressed the importance of linguistic diversity in India and the need to nurture and celebrate all languages that contribute to our national identity.
The college also organized a Hindi Poem competition for students, encouraging them to express their thoughts and ideas in Hindi. This competition provided a platform for students to showcase their language skills and creativity. Special Session & Vote of thanks was given by Dr. Dhananjay Srivastav where he focused on the history of hindi language & importance of Sanskrit language. He also thanked the HOI, Faculty members, Students for their valuable time to make this occasion memorable. Such initiatives help in preparing our students for the challenges and opportunities they will encounter in their future careers within the hospitality sector.
