“Interior Design Students Explore Creativity at FOAID and Trade Fair”
Department of Interior Design of NBSCFF, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University Meerut had organised educational trip to Festival of Architectural and Interior Designing (FOAID) followed by International trade fair, New Delhi on 23rd November 2024.
A group of enthusiastic interior design students, accompanied by two faculty members (Ms. Monika Verma and Ms. Shabnum Shabir ), recently attended the prestigious “FOAID (Festival of Architecture and Interior Designing) exhibition and a renowned “The India International Trade Fair”. The visit offered an invaluable opportunity for students to gain real-world exposure and broaden their understanding of emerging trends in the field.
FOAID, known for bringing together celebrated architects, designers, and industry leaders, served as a platform for students to engage with cutting-edge concepts and innovative design practices. The event featured insightful panel discussions, exhibitions of exemplary projects, and interactive sessions with industry experts.
The students also explored the trade fair, where they witnessed an array of materials, furniture, and technological advancements that are shaping the future of interior design. This hands-on experience helped bridge the gap between classroom learning and practical application, enhancing their creative and technical knowledge.
The faculty members guided the students throughout the visit, encouraging discussions and sharing their expertise to maximize the learning potential of the trip. Students expressed their gratitude for the experience, calling it a pivotal moment in their academic journey.
