Inauguration of National Service Scheme (7 Day) camp

Meerut:- The role of youth is important in the progress of the country. The leadership of the youth with enthusiasm along with hard work takes the country on the path of progress. Along with the youth, it is very important for all people to be disciplined. Discipline is to do the right thing at the right time with the right purpose and in the right manner. Senior litterateur Dr. Ashok Maitreya laid emphasis on the statements above during his address to the students of Swami Vivekanand Subharti University on Friday – 1st April 2022. The seven-day special camp was inaugurated by the National Service Scheme of Subharti University at the Tathagat Hall at the School of Buddhist Studies.

On this occasion, the Pro-Vice-Chancellor of the University, Dr. Abhay Shankaregowda said that the students have to lead the change in higher education and move the system towards development along with them. Underlining the importance of water, he warned against water scarcity in the future. Professor Dr. Neeraj Karan Singh, Dean Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences inspired the youth to do more for national interest and social welfare through the song “Navjawan Aao Re”. During this, he also presented the outline of the seven-day camp. During the program, the winner of the sports competition held in the past, BA first-year student Siya Tomar was conferred with the award. The program was coordinated and conducted by Dr. Seema Sharma. The vote of thanks was given by Ms. Pallavi Tyagi. On this occasion, volunteers of the National Service Scheme and Dean Faculty Of Fine Arts, Prof. (Dr.) Pintu Mishra, Dr. Manoj Tripathi, Dr. Nisha Yadav, Mr. Vinay Punia, Mr. Dharmendra Singh, and Dr. Pallabi Mukherjee were also present.
