Departmental Orientation Programme Report 2023-24
One week Orientation program was organized by Department of Physical Education from 25th July 2023 to 31st July, 2023 for its newly admitted students. Students admitted to various courses B.P.E.S, B.P.Ed , M.P.Ed and MA Yoga enthusiastically attend the first day of program. The Induction Program was brought in with a view to uplift the level of the learners to an elevated stage, promote all-round development and exposing learners’ stigmas to minimize and to maximize their learning
The program was inaugurated by Dr. Sandeep Kumar, Dean, Faculty of Education & Head, Department of Physical Education. He welcomed all the students and acquainted the students with the vision, mission and objectives of the college and gave the information about rules and regulations/facilities which are provided by the university and overview of the Department. He addressed the learners by clearing their doubts that they have in their mind.
Afterwards Dr. Manju Adhikari , Associate Professor briefed about the discipline, dressing sense & rules and regulation of the department student’s code of conduct. Thereafter, Ms. Soniya Rana , Assistant Professor and Ms. Anu Rathi took all the students to visit departmental laboratories and departmental library.
On the very next day Dr. Praveen Kumar, Associate Professor and Ms.Shivani Arya started the day with ‘Fitness movement’ session in which students took part with full of energy and also enjoyed the session.
Afterwards Recreational Session was also held for the students under the supervision of Dr. Deepak Raghav , Assistant Professor and Mr. Arun Vasthav ,Assistant Professor.
On third day Mr. Ankit Singh Jadon and Mr. Bhartendu Chauhan accompanied the students to the Physiotherapy College and Naturopathy. Physiotherapy College teachers shared their knowledge on sports injuries and their rehabilitation to the students.
Fourth day of the Orientation Program was started with a mesmerizing prayer led by Ms. Nisha Saini, Assistant Professor. Afterwards the students visited to Fine Arts College where they saw so many creative and innovative things. Dr. Praveen Kumar, Associate Professor has given brief information about the departmental Sports activities.
On Fifth day all the students visited to Engineering College accompanied by Mr. Arun Vasthav, Assistant Professor.
And the last day of Orientation Program was ended by Dr. Praveen Kumar, Associate Professor and Dr. Deepak Raghav, Assistant Professor who acknowledge the students about the Examination system & course structure of each class.
