An Outreach Activity on “Environment Savior Technologies” was organized by the Department of CSE, Faculty of Engineering and technology in Gharham Society, bijilee Bamba bypass road, MEERUT were the main objectives of the event were
- To create an awareness of self-worth.
- To provide facilities for improving the conditions of life specifically for the poorer sections of society.
- To stimulate self-reliance and self-development in local communities. To encourage, train and enable local people to assume community responsibilities.
- To encourage all segments of society, irrespective of caste, creed, religion, or economic situation to cooperate on long-term development.
The students showcased a play on the topic of Environmental Savior Technologies in which they depicted a scenario of 2 scenes regarding e-waste management.1st scene depicted a high-class family spending their income on buying recent technology gadgets and dumping the older ones in open areas / general garbage dustbin. 2nd scene depicted the family getting aware of the bad consequences of dumping e-waste in open areas. At the end of the act, the audience is aware of the solution to dumping e-waste which consists of Eco-ATM. The event was made successful with contributions from all the students and faculty members of the Department.
