The Department of Physical Education, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut, organized a grand Freshers’ Welcome Ceremony on 11 November 2025 at the GTB Auditorium to warmly receive the new batch of B.P.E.S., B.P.Ed., M.P.Ed., and M.A. Yoga students. The auditorium was beautifully decorated, and the program began with a warm welcome and floral greeting of faculty members and freshers. Dr. Manju Adhikari, Convener and Officiating Head of the Department, addressed the gathering and conveyed her blessings to the students on behalf of Lt. Prof. Dr. Sandeep Kumar, Dean, Faculty of Education, in his absence. She motivated the newcomers to maintain discipline, stay committed, and uphold professional values throughout their journey in the field of Physical Education.
All faculty members of the department actively participated in the celebration and performed their duties with utmost dedication, contributing to the smooth and joyful organization of the event. The event included energetic cultural performances, interactive activities, and fun competitions led by senior students. The highlight of the program was the Mr. & Ms. Fresher Competition, where the following students were honored:

- B.P.Ed. (1st Semester): Mr. Om Chikara & Ms. Ishita
- M.P.Ed. (1st Semester): Mr. Harsh Tyagi & Ms. Neha
- M.A. Yoga (1st Semester): Ms. Khushi Sharma
The event concluded on a cheerful note with enthusiastic participation from both faculty and students, creating an atmosphere of joy, unity, and confidence among the newcomers.
