Report – To celebrate the vigilance awareness week on a theme- Independent India @ 75 Self Reliance with Integrity Swatantra Bharat @ 75 Satyanishtha se Atmnirbharta on the call of Central Vigilance Commission, India Vigilance Awareness Week has been organized under the aegis of Sardar Patel Subharti Institute of Law, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut, October 26’2021 to November 01’ 2021. The program was scheduled with an objective to create awareness and inculcate the habit to avoid corruption in the form of bribes.
During this one-week program, various activities took place. Such as-
- 26th October 2021 Integrity pledge by all the faculty members, non-teaching staff members, and the students of Law College.
- 28th October 2021 Poster-making competition for the Law College Students on the ‘Satynishtha se Atamnirbharta’.
- 30th October 2021 Celebration of “National Unity Day” (Documentary on Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel.
- 01st November 2021 Quiz on anti-corruption law for the students of Subharti Law College.
26 October 2021- To spread the awareness among the students, faculty members, and the non-teaching staff of Subharti Law College against corruption a program has been conducted by Dr. Sarika Tyagi (Associate Professor) in Moot Court Hall. She told the audience about the
importance of vigilance week and also told the students how one can avoid corruption. Apart from it she also told the audience that we are having Corruption prevention mechanisms which often start with rules that prohibit certain types of conduct. Rules include legal prohibitions against corruption and criminal and civil penalties directed at both the public and private sectors Pledge has been recited by Dr. Sarika Tyagi and followed by faculty members as well as students.
We are having National Anti Corruption & Crime Control Bureau Visit & investigate in Private Sector, Semi-Government/State Government / Central Government, and other corrupt related institutions and report in related government institutions for corruption & Crime. Do work in the field of investigation for control of crime and corruption all over India. The Mission of Anti Corruption is to prevent, address and reduce corruption in the public and private sectors and to promote good governance, integrity, and the rule of law. Ensure and coordinated, consistent, effective, realistic, and sustained fight Against Corruption; You can promote transparency, accountability, integrity, and access to information at all levels of society.
28.10.202- In continuation of vigilance awareness week a poster-making competition on the theme Independent India @ 75 Self Reliance with Integrity (Swatantra Bharat @ 75 Satyanishtha se Atmnirbharta) has been organized by Dr. Sarika Tyagi and Shalini Goel.
For this competition, various students registered and participated. The Competition has been judged by a single judge Sh. Vikas tyagi, Assistant Professor. In the competition Shivam Sharma of BA.LL.B. III Semester secured the first position, Ms. Priya Chaudhary of BA.LL.B III semester secured Second Position, while Saloni Ahalawat of BA.LL.B. IX semester and Syed Mehdi Hasan of BA.LL.B III Semester secured the third position jointly.
30.10.2021 During the vigilance awareness week a documentary has been visualized on the life of Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel because on 31.10.2021 birthday of Sardar Vallabhbahi Patel was fallen.
01.11.2021 An online quiz competition on anti-corruption laws in India has been organized. 15 participants registered themselves. In this quiz competition Km. Akaanksha Rai of BA.LL.B. IX semester stood first.
