Maharishi Aurobindo Subharti College & Hospital of Naturopathy & Yogic Sciences, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut, successfully organized a faculty development program on “Role of Positive Thinking in Professional Life” for teaching and non-teaching staff. The session was exclusively conducted for all faculty and non-teaching staff members at Council Hall, Subharti Medical College (SMC), Swami Vivekanand Subharti University (SVSU) on 17 January 2026 from 12:30 onwards.
Dr Rahul Bansal, Professor & Advisor, Dept. of Community Medicine, Subharti Medical college was the guest speaker who delivered an insightful and motivating session on the importance of positive thinking, especially in professional contexts. The resource person shared unique theories and practical insights, emphasizing that positive thinking is a powerful process that significantly enhances motivation, productivity, and teamwork in the workplace.
He discussed the professional advantages of cultivating a positive mindset, including improved communication, reduced stress, and enhanced job satisfaction. He also shared actionable strategies to develop and maintain a positive outlook in day-to-day professional interactions.
During the program, the speaker explained five key elements of positive thinking: self-awareness, self-regulation, motivation, empathy, and social skills. He motivated faculty and non-teaching staff to adopt these principles in their professional lives.
A total of 16 teaching and non-teaching staff members had attended the session and the event was coordinated by Dr Adil, Assistant Professor, Faculty of AYUSH (MASCHNYS).
