Waste to Wealth (Craft Business competition)
The event was Organised by the Women Empowerment Committee of SVSU in Subharti College of Management and Commerce on 26th April 2023. Students of different constituent colleges of Subharti University have participated. Students have prepared Very beautiful and useful crafts by using different kinds of waste materials.
- 1st position secured by students of Management College, Ashutosh Anand, Komal & Aman.
- 2nd position (tie between two groups) secured by students of Medical college Ananya & Apoorva and Gautam, Student of Management College.
- 3rd position secured by students of Faculty of Education, Khushi Choudhary and Kajal Devi.
- 4th position secured by the students of Polytechnic college and Management college.
- Students of Law college got consolation certificates.
Chairperson of the committee Dr. Anjali khare has shared the role of waste to wealth in the empowerment of women and society at large. Dr. R.K.Ghai, Dean & Director, Faculty of Management & Commerce, congratulated all the participants and motivated them to participate with full enthusiasm. Event was coordinated by Dr. Rakhi Kumari Jha, Dr. Manju Adhikari, Dr. Sarika Tyagi and Dr. Anshul Trivedi, members of the Women Empowerment Committee contributed to make the event successful.
