An Educational Tour of Hastinapur, Meerut was organised by the Department of Fine Arts, Faculty of Fine Arts. The students were educated about the historical and mythological significance of Hastinapura during the visit. A painting and photography workshop was organised during the trip.
All the students were happy after collecting the artistic qualities. Dr. Pintu Mishra, Dean faculty of Fine Arts addressed the students and outlined the importance of the trip and the workshops being conducted during the trip.
he also encouraged the students to participate wholeheartedly. Such a workshop is important for the students to appreciate the architecture and learn the nuances involved in painting and capturing heritage properties.
The importance of colour variations to represent the effects of light and shadow in a painting was taught to the students by Mr. Ashish Kumar Mishra, Dr. Anshu Srivastava and Mr. Sunny who had accompanied them during the visit.
