An international guest lecture was organized on 6 September 2025 under the aegis of the Department of Physical Education, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut. The topic of this special lecture was “Optimum Peak Performance: Ultimate Diet and Ashtanga Kriyas”, in which Professor Krzysztof Stec of Jan Dlugos University, Poland was present as the keynote speaker. The program was inaugurated by the keynote speaker Professor Krzysztof Stec, Chief Executive Officer of the University Dr. Shalya Raj, Dean of Education Faculty and Head of Physical Education Department Lieutenant Professor (Dr.) Sandeep Kumar, Director Research Professor Amar Prakash Garg, Dean of Fine Arts Faculty Dr. Pintu Mishra and Dean of Polytechnic College Professor S.C. Tiwari by lighting a lamp in front of Maa Saraswati. At the beginning of the program, the keynote speaker was welcomed by Professor Dr. Sandeep Kumar. During the lecture, Professor Krzysztof Stec elaborated on the usefulness of optimal performance through diet and Ashtanga Kriyas. He said that various aspects of balanced diet and yoga practice play an important role in improving the quality of life and taking sports performance to a higher level. The keynote speaker also drew attention to various aspects of Surya Namaskar. In which he told about the glory of Surya Namaskar originated from our Vedic period, how we can keep ourselves physically healthy by incorporating Surya Namaskar in our life. And in his lecture, he also made all the students aware of the glory of a pure balanced vegetarian diet. On this occasion, the Chief Executive Officer of the University, Dr. Shalya Raj was also present and she sent her best wishes to the organizing team for the successful organization of the program. During the lecture, along with the Deans of various faculties, teachers, students, Director of Subharti Defense Academy Colonel Rajesh Tyagi and Chief Security Officer of the University Colonel Kukreja were also present. At the end of the program, Professor Anoj Raj, Department of Education presented the vote of thanks. This international lecture proved to be very informative and inspiring for the students and teachers. The program was anchored by Dr. Neha, Head of the Department of Fashion Design, Faculty of Fine Arts. Lieutenant Professor Sandeep Kumar, Dr. Manju Adhikari, Dr. Praveen Kumar, Dr. Deepak Raghav, Dr. Atul Tiwari, Dr. Ankit Singh Jadon, Dr. Nishant Kumar, Mr. Shubham Rathi, Mr. Kapil Shakya and Mr. Sartaj from the Department of Physical Education played a key role in making the program successful.
