The Department of Fine Arts, Nandalal Bose Subharti College of Fine Arts & Fashion Design, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut, successfully organized a thought-provoking One Day lecture & workshop on ” Intangiblism: A New Perspective”November 6, 2025.
The program commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp. The guest was felicitated with a traditional stole by Dean Prof. (Dr.) Pintu Mishra, while the Head of the Department, Dr. Pooja Gupta, honored the guest with a plant sapling. The event organized by Dr. Vandana Tomar ( Academic coordinator, Department of Fine Arts)with the guidance and support of Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Pramod Kumar Sharma, Chief Executive Officer Prof. (Dr.) Shalya Raj, and Dean Prof. (Dr.) Pintu Mishra.
The distinguished guest speaker, Mr.Ashwani Kumar Prithviwasi ji , Founder& Principal Delhi Collage of Art, New Delhi delivered an insightful lecture highlighting the profound symbolic, aesthetic, philosophical, Intangiblism is a modern art movement conceptualized by Mr. Ashwani Kumar Prithviwasi, Founder and Principal of Delhi Collage of Art. The term combines “intangible” (something beyond physical form) and “ism” (a belief or movement), representing an artistic philosophy that goes beyond material reality.
This style encourages artists to express the unseen, spiritual, and emotional dimensions of existence rather than focusing solely on tangible, visible forms. Intangiblism connects thoughts, feelings, imagination, and inner experiences with visual expression.
The lecture witnessed active participation from faculty members, students, , who deeply appreciated and benefitted from the enriching discourse. The success of the program was made possible through the dedicated contributions of Dr. Pavanendra Tiwari, Dr. Anshu Srivastava, Mr. Krishan Kumar, Dr Sunny Sharma, Mr. Lucky Tyagi, Diwakar Bisht, Lakshay Kumar, Dhramraj Gupta & all faculty members.
