Organizes a National Seminar
On
“Indian Knowledge System: Developed India: 2047

The Department of Education, Faculty of Education, SVSU, Meerut, organized Two Days National seminar on “Indian knowledge system; Developed India: 2047”in collaboration with Council of Teachers Professional Development (CTPD) India and Council of Teacher Education Foundation (CTEF) India, Dated15th & 16th March 2024. On first day inaugural session was started by Deep Prajjawalan before Goddess Saraswati, followed by a welcome speech by Prof. (Dr.) Anoj Raj, Head, Department of Education, Faculty of Education, Meerut, then Prof. Dr. Sandeep Kumar, Dean, Faculty of Education, SVSU, Meerut, gave a special note on the theme “Indian knowledge system; Developed India: 2047”. Prof. Kumar said that the ambition of a developed nation can only be realized through education”.
The occasion was fascinated by the blessings of Prof. (Dr.) Shalya Raj, Chief Executive Officer, SVSU, Meerut. Then some of the highlights on the importance of Indian languages were focused by Special Guest, Dr. Sumit Dutta, Counseling Psychologist & Mental Health Trainer, NCERT, India.
The Keynote address was given by Dr. Dori Lal, Associate Professor, Department of TT & NFE(IASE), Faculty of Education, Jamia Milia Islamia, New Delhi, India, He addressed that for the indulgence of knowledge, we must directly linked to our traditional roots. Dr. Lal focused that we should learn the new without forgetting the older culture, only then India’s goal to rank among the finest in the world but also to lead the world in excellence will be achieved. Dr. Rakesh Sharma, MBA Institute, Noida, U.P. India elaborate upon the vast spectrum of Indian Knowledge system Finance GNIOT Institute, Greater Noida U.P.India.
The Chief Guest of this National Seminar was Prof. (Dr.) Ramesh Prakash Pathak, Dean, School of Education, Shri Lal Bahadur Shashtri National Sanskrit University (A Central University, New Delhi), explained Indian Knowledge system in detail and focused upon to follow our own traditions in spite of copying other ones. Dr. Pathak added that to bring drastic changes and fulfillment of our Dreams, India’s many educational and intellectual hubs will need to act as grounds to induce the abilities and ambitions of young generations for developed India-2047.
On this occasion the E- Souvenir of the national seminar was launched by Prof. (Dr). Sandeep Kumar, and all the dignitaries like Dr. Sumit Dutta, Dr. Dori Lal, Dr. H.M.Sharma, Dr. Rakesh Sharma, Prof. (Dr.) Ramesh Prakash Pahtak,& Prof Dr Mahaveer Singh, Director, Distance Education, SVSU, Meerut.& Prof. (Dr.) Anoj Raj and others were also present.
The technical session was chaired by Dr. Bhuvnesh Sharma (Associate Professor) Department of Education, Faculty of Education, SVSU, Meerut, and various research scholars of different Institutions and Department of Education, SVSU, Meerut, presented their research papers on the theme of national seminar.
The second day of National seminar “Indian knowledge system; Developed India: 2047was started by the eminent and versatile Expert Speaker, Dr. Sanjay Kumar, President, Council for Teachers Professional Development (CTPD), India & Principal Saraswati College of Professional Studies, Ghaziabad, U.P., India, stressed upon the fact that “India has the greatest young population in the world. It is a reservoir of untapped potential that is poised to reshape global talent dynamics, not only a demographic advantage.
The Guest of Honour was Dr. S. C. Pachouri, President, CTEF, India, focused upon the role of higher education, that “In the field of higher education, we must exercise greater innovation. In order to prepare kids for the workforce, we must prioritize reforming the educational system,” he underlined.
Dr. Bhuvnesh Sharma, (Associate Professor), Department of Education remain the chairperson and Dr. Shali Tiwari (Assistant Professor) Department of Education as the co chairperson, almost all the Ph.D. Scholars and PG students presented their papers related to the theme of national seminar. Dr. Reeba Devi (Assistant Professor) Department of Education remains as the moderator of the event.
The another technical session was chaired by Dr. Mumtaz Sheikh (Assistant Professor) Department of Education, and Dr. Sangeeta Rani (Assistant Professor) Department of Education remains as the co Chairperson. The UG and PG Students of Department of Education presented their papers. And Dr. Reeba Devi (Assistant Professor) Department of Education remains as the moderator of the Event.
At the end Dr. Indira Singh Professor & (Organizing Secretary) Department of Education, presented the brief of the event and Prof. (Dr) Anoj. Raj, Head, Department of Education also conveyed thanks to all the Dignitaries, faculty members, research scholars and the students. .
Vote of Thanks was given by Dr. Rahul Sirohi, Associate Professor, Department of Education, approx 20 students presented their papers and 100 students remains present in the national seminar. This event was made successful by the active coordination of all faculty members.
